[ Video / Action Cianwood City - Johto ]

[ The gentle lapping of the sea splashing against the sand is the first thing the video records. A tiny Vulpix runs into the wet sand as the ocean retreats only to turn and bolt away again when the next wave crashes in to chase her back up the beach.I am really not sure what happened. I used to be in ( Read more... )

[ She was surprised to see a Pidgeotto with a package for her. When she opened it and saw it was from Eagle, she smiled. She immediately gives him a call when she finished the whole album. ]

Eagle? Eagle, thank you so much for the lovely gift. I love it!

Her message ... is quite powerful. The sound is indeed unique. The piano and violin was a very wonderful touch.

Really? I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I knew you liked music so I thought some thing like this might make a good gift.

I enjoyed it, thank you. Oh dear, now I really should hurry my Christmas shopping.

I apologize if they will be a little late.

[ She is making some of them herself. ]

That is quite alright. Take all the time you need.

I really have never celebrated Christmas before, but it seems so important to everyone in Johto. I wanted to make sure I did all of the shopping long before the day. So, I might be a little early!

Because Autozam doesn't have Christmas, isn't that right?

There is a history behind this holiday. It was taught to us at the orphanage by the Reverend that is a very close friend of my family. Though, history or not ... it is a holiday that brings some people together for at least once a year. Blood family or not.

That's right. I had never heard of the holiday before arriving in Johto. Watching everyone getting ready for it, all the decorating and singing people did, that did look like a lot of fun though.

It is something you celebrate on Earth? I don't know the story behind the holiday but I think it is a nice idea. It gives you a chance to show everyone you know how much you appreciate them.

Well then, I hope very much you will enjoy your first Christmas here. And yes, we celebrated it on Earth. We celebrated it at the PLANTs as well. It is a tradition that began with our ancestors so it is not something we would ignore.

Eagle, if I may ask ... have you seen a doctor about your condition yet? I am sorry if it seems like I am pushing this too much.

Thank you. I think I will enjoy it. I just hope I don't bother the locals too much by asking too many questions about everything.

[From a happy topic to a more somber one. ]

I honestly can't remember what I did during the weekend at all. I know we were planning on heading back to Johto, which we must have done since we are here now, but I don't know how we got all the way to Cianwood City. I suppose if I did it would have been forgotten about by everyone anyway.

I see. The same thing happened to my friend, Rapunzel. She woke up to find herself in Cherrygrove when she was at Violet with her friend before then. I can only ... vaguely remember what happened to me, but no clear memories.

I just wanted to be sure. But I am glad that you don't seem to look sick anymore. [ And was enjoying the Holiday cheer. ]

Rapunzel was just telling me about that too, but you also don't remember? What ever the cause was it had to be very powerful to wipe the memory of so many people...

Those fits really haven't been lasting very long in Johto. I still will go and see some one about it once it seems feasible to do so.

[Like when he is back in Goldenrod again. Bigger Cities usually have better medical facilities. ]

But, I might as well visit the Gym while I am here.

Johto is a mysterious place. I do not even understand how this 'game' is to be played anymore.

If you find out something ... I hope it won't be too bold of me to ask if you could let me know. I think the more we understand about this world, the easier it may be to move forward.

[ Smiles. ]

A gym battle then? I know you will do well. You always do.

I have not seen many battles from Cianwood, so I may watch if you decide to broadcast it.

I'm not sure either. If there are even more gym badges in Kanto then the theory that collecting them all will send us home... sounds less likely.

Of course, I don't mind sharing anything I learn about this world with you. Unfortunately right now I don't think I know very much about it at all.

[That makes him smile too. Those gym battles are something familiar that he really does enjoy doing. ]

If Zaz doesn't fight maybe he will record it for you. He does like to play 'camera-man'.

[OOC: Christmas lag on my part combined with... LJ DIDN'T GIVE ME A NOTIFF! -.-' Sorry for epic slow. ]

Lets not lose hope just yet ... maybe it is not likely but it is still something to do.

Thank you. And I will do the same, though sadly it may not be much. If Mister Zaz doesn't mind, I will truly, truly be grateful.

I am sorry if this becomes troublesome.

(ooc: It is alright. ^^ I am on vacation right now and pretty slow. Internet is hard to find in the mountains.)

It won't be troublesome at all! I do enjoy speaking with you and I don't mind sharing whatever I learn about Johto. All of your requests are very reasonable, don't worry.

[OOC: Ooo yes, I imagine it would be! Have a nice vacation.]

Thank you, Eagle. You are a wonderful friend as usual. Please don't ever hesitate to ask me anything either. I may not know th answers but I can still try to help.

[ ooc: I did! Before my fever started. ;A; ]

You are very sweet. I will keep your offer in mind if I need any advice.

[OOC: Ugh... yeah. That could put a real crimp in a vacation. I was really sorry to hear about that. ]
