Wow, so much has gone on.
Mmk, had a great day before I went to bend, well, kinda. Worked a little, saw people. OMGoodness, Jon came up randomly before Mary got here to pick me up! It was sooo nice to see him... oh, and look at him. That is one huge benefit to dating models, mmhhmmmmm. He's wonderful. Anyway, I told him to make sure to see Steph and tell her I love her. Haha, so proof that people don't forget me.... evidently after I left, Jon told my mom that I'm on his super short list of girls he wants to marry, most of which are made up by celebrities - hehe. Awesome.
The trip up with Mary was amazing. I got a ton of her family's background, she got mine. I found out we're so much alike! Our outlooks, the way we react to things, even some of the happenings in our family's past matches perfectly. It was one of the shortest three hour trips I've ever had... just flew by. I really do cherish that family. You know when you find people that are so wonderful, compatible, interesting, caring, etc etc and you never ever want to let them slip away? That's who they are to me.
So, the stay was amazing... I spent way too much money, but for awsome threads and things, so I've already rationalized it ;) Alex and I spent some time reminiscing and it really made me think of how we met and became such fast ans close friends. When we're together, everything is right. She is is the only person who I can be completely vulneralbe with, no edits; I don't even feel that with Sarah. It's truly special.
We did something I've never done before. She decided that if she doesn't have a summer project, just for her, then she'll go crazy. I already have one, so I jumped at the opportunity to help. She wants to do a picture profile of her friends. Equipped with this amazing 1953 Rolleiflex camera in mint condition and color and black and white film, we headed to a studio that she has connections to. I have never in all of my days done a photoshoot of just me... it was weird at first, and then almost liberating. The pictures are amazing, there are so many that only Alex could bring out in me. Then, we headed out for more shopping, and back to her house, where many more pictures were taken. Most of them are now on flickr... which, she will be happy to know, I am already addicted to... ugh :)
There's a ton of tension in my back, I guess that's not a bad place to keep it. I really need a massage.
Well, I'm working.... about to close this chapter of my summer. I'm excited to turn the next page and find out what it holds for me. Three more days will include a visit with my dad, and then LB. Ohhh, yeah... LB. Like Trish said, I'm sure debauchery will abound..... innocent debauchery ;)

alex
