waiting for godot

It's going be a long time before I empty a dishwasher again.

I can tell that mom is upset about me leaving because she putting up pictures me of all over the house. In the past week she has framed every youth salute and senior picture we own--all of them had been collecting dust in their orginal boxes for at least the past year.  She is also crying a lot, which was only a small clue of her emotions...

Today I stopped by the school to say goodbye to Mrs. Wells. I came just in time for journalism. They're starting their own in-house paper this year, instead of writing for the local paper like we did last year. Dylan Holt is editor. Sigh. A boy after my own heart. He is also considering Transy for school next year...he's following in all my footsteps!  Zeph was in the class, too, so I had a nice chat with him. He is strangely identical to John Mayer, except cuter.

Let the melody ride as it may,
On euphoria and day to day.
We might fall victim to time,
and it's quite alright, quite alright.
Cause we're composing this mystery, titled "somehow lullaby"

This morning I learned that "myriad" can also be used as an adjective. I thought it was only a noun. I still need to study for my placement exams. And pack. Stress.

Luckily Celia and Robbie are helping me move. Celia, if you read this in time, you can just stay at my house tonight. Robbie is staying here.

Today, at goodwill, I got a shirt that says "I learned to swim at Transy swim camp."

I'm talking to Cedric, my Belgian friend, who just returned from 8 wild (and probably drunken) days in Spain with his best friend. Jealousy.

OH! And the big news of the day is....Cory and I have just decided to have a baby together. Well, me, Cory, and whatever guy he is with at the time. Originally he just wanted an egg, but I said, hell, I'd even carry the baby, as long as we have a girl--you can pick these days--and as long as we live very close to each other.  Her name will be Jensen, and according to Cory, she will be Miss America. Now, we won't execute this plan until we're about thirty or so. This way, I get my daughter, I don't have to get married, and I'll always have Cory.

But you know that when the truth is told,
That you can get what you want or you can just get old.
