“Seriously guys, is it ‘let’s bully Jon’ month and you forgot to tell me?”
The seven members of Yellow Fried Chickenz were all taking a few minutes break in-between the promotion they were doing for their new single and Jon, Gackt, You and U:zo were relaxing in their dressing room. It had been the first time they’d all managed to meet for several weeks, and Jon had been meaning to ask that question for some time.
“What do you mean?” You asked.
“The drunk and asleep photos you’ve all been posting of me lately,” Jon explained. “I expect it from him,” he said, pointing at Gackt, “but I thought you were nicer than that, U:zo.”
U:zo looked at Jon with wide eyed innocence. “What have I done?”
“You tweeted that photo of me asleep,” Jon explained.
“Um,” U:zo began hesitantly, “Gackt made me.”
Gackt just grinned.
“Should have known,” Jon said, shaking his head. “And You, I know some of these photos have been taken by you.”
You shrugged his shoulders. “No idea what you’re talking about.”
“Sure you don’t,” Jon said.
“Jon,” Gackt began, “one of the aims of YFC is to make people smile, yes?” Jon nodded. “Seeing us drunk and asleep makes the fans smile, so that’s why we share the photos.”
“I understand that,” Jon answered, “but why is it only me?”
Gackt, U:zo and You all looked at each other for a few moments.
U:zo spoke first. “Because you’re always falling asleep in strange places and it’s easy to take photos of you.”
“Because you’re so cute when you’re passed out,” Gackt smirked.
“And because,” You said, “everyone else has more sense than to pass out drunk or asleep around Gackt.”
