Notes - inspired by the staff blog a couple of weeks ago of Gackt running on his treadmill. Shirtless. Yum.
Gackt was happy.
His schedule for the day was light, at least by his usual standards, and he was spending most of the day at home. It was a welcome respite from his busy lifestyle that saw him living out of a suitcase in lavish hotel after lavish hotel and he was determined to make the most of it.
After training, that is.
But, Gackt mused, even training was welcome and relaxing when it was done within the sanctity and familiarity of your own home instead of a strange gym or random room backstage at a live venue that had been hastily filled with the exercise machines he took on the road with him. Here, he had everything he could need and although he loved training with and torturing his crew, it was very satisfying to be training on his own, in his own way and with no interruptions.
He pressed one of the many buttons that covered the control panel of his treadmill and it sped up to a pace that suited him far more than the slower pace had. The treadmill was positioned directly in front of one of the many mirrors that lined the walls of Gackt’s part gym, part dojo and he was pleased to see the layer of sweat that glistened on his bare chest. It wasn’t a work out without sweat, after all.
He pressed the button that sped up the treadmill again. Normally, this would be the speed where his training partners would start asking him to slow down for fear of him further damaging the ankle that had been injured the past few months but with nobody there, Gackt had nobody to worry about.

Despite the sound of the treadmill and the regular pounding noise of Gackt’s feet hitting the floor, Gackt still heard that click and he quickly grabbed hold of the hand rests and lifted himself off the moving treadmill, his feet landing on the sides as he turned the treadmill off. He turned around and smiled when he saw the source of the noise.
“You-kun…” Gackt said softly. “Photographing me again?”
“I couldn’t help it,” You smiled as he placed his camera back in the bag at his feet, “your back is so photogenic.”
“And my front isn’t?” Gackt asked with an amused smile.
You laughed. “Of course it is… but I don’t see your back as often. Especially not when it’s all sweaty like it is now.”
Gackt smirked. “Only you could like my back sweat.”
“I dunno,” You said, “I’m sure plenty of fans would like to see your sweaty back. We should put this photo on one of the blogs and see the reaction it gets.”
“Are you sure you want to share that sight with everyone?”
“I don’t mind people seeing your sweaty, bare back,” You said as he walked over to Gackt, “why would I? After all, I’m the only one who gets to touch.”
Gackt shivered slightly when You’s fingertips ran up the length of his spine. “I hadn’t finished my work out before you interrupted me. I think we should work out together for awhile.” Gackt headed for the door. “Oh, and bring your camera.”

Phew! All caught up and only two days left to go... thankfully!
