A short post today, but there is much to talk about. I won't have time to talk much about it, but it'll be nice to get some of it out.
-For better or worse, the show goes up in less than two weeks. Part of me wants to scream, part of me wants to jump for joy, part of me is nervous as all hell that no one will come. It's been a learning experience. It's enjoyably stressful, but nonetheless, I have laundry for the next week and a half of insanity, food in my house and money (not a lot, but enough) in my bank account. I can reasonably say that I should be able to get through to May 11th fully intact.
-I have a new job. Thank. God. My last day at current job is opening night of the show. I will (after three months) have benefits and I start off with a pretty incredible raise in salary. This is good.
-I'm going to visit Mlle. la Sidekick and Lady Dory next month. A whole week with my roomies!!!!! *So* exciting. It'll be good times.
-I am now the proud possessor of the I-dropped-my-cellphone-in-pickle-relish story. It's funny, but I am somewhat mourning the loss of my perfectly good phone. In the meantime, I make due with my twin's old one. C'est la vie.
-Though it's been a little on the hot side for spring, the weather is starting to stay nice again. This is heartening, if only because I tend to feel happier if I wake up in the morning and the sun is shining brightly. Maybe it's just that the stress remains at bay for a little longer on those days. Also...I love flip-flops.
-Prince Caspian comes out next month. ::is super-excited:: And the Prince himself is gracing my soon-to-be former workplace's desktop computer.
-::squints eyes in thought:: I think that was all the reporting. Hopefully, more updates will discuss the aforementioned in a more lengthy manner, but I'm not making any promises. Until then...
