My name is Bastet. I'm--very glad to see your writing again.

It is a pleasure, Bastet.

I am glad that my return seems to have caused more pleasant reactions than turmoil.

You were definitely missed. Are you settling in all right?

As well as can be expected, given the location and my own smaller problems.

I am, newly "hatched" as I am told the term is. Which makes sense considering the eggs, however, apparently I was here some months ago as well.

Wait, so you can lose memories of being in this fucking shithole too?

Yes, as a result of death, I believe.

Hi, Alekhine! I'm Cecdan. Or Dani, whichever's easier!

You were here before? Really?

It is a pleasure. How does one pronounce your name?

Yes, that would be the case. However I do not remember the others that I spoke with and were close to, which is unfortunate and disorienting besides.

That is interesting. Does your name have a meaning, or translation, that you can recall?

It is distressing a bit, yes, but those who knew me before have been pleasant and understanding.

How silly of me not to offer. I'm Kazahana. I work at Medical.

It is fine; I feel that people are used to writing to those who know the name on the other side of the pen. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Kazahana.

Weclome, then, Alekhine.

I recognize the writing, but your name changed.

It has, yes. My apologies for that.

You couldn't help it. There is no reason to apologize.
