If whomever in the Housekeeping department would be so kind as to not rearrange the books in the house to the point that they are color-coded, it would be greatly appreciated. Alphabetically, by author, is the arrangement that Mister East and I agreed to. As a result of this rearranging, I keep misplacing my journal and it is rather aggravating ( Read more... )

I have found myself particularly pleased with Ivanhoe, if you have not already read it. I'm unsure as to the strange world it is set in, but the story is well done.

Though those of us unaffected have the luxury on passing judgment to those grieving, it seems cruel and unusual to place a time limit to how long they are allowed to mourn outwardly. As for the violent acts... without more information into the matter, what can we do?

It is not the mourning that bothers me, but the rate at which people are suddenly vanishing or turning up dead.

Not very much. For such a small society we are rather amiss when it comes to policing ourselves.

If you have suggestions, I'm sure the guards are accepting them. I believe so far that stance has been for residents to protect themselves and their loved ones. If this is the result of a maniac, or merely a sting of happenings, then they must be caught, certainly. But what then?

Shall we erect a jail? Cells for them? Does the Sphere truly need the Guards to become physical law enforcement?
