Dinner Impossible is my current favorite show on TV. The host, Robert Irvine, impresses me to no end by what he can accomplish with limited resources and time limits. The man is a cullinary god.
It was just announced that he's been fired for lying about things on his resume. Dammit, Robert, why did you do that? You're an amazing chef and your show rocks. You certainly didn't need to pad your stats. If you really didn't help with a royal wedding cake, you should not have put it on your CV.
Frankly I don't think they can replace him as the show's chef. His personal style and his abilites are unlikely to be duplicated. It would be better that he just apologize, set the record straight, and go back to making the show.
