What I had been worried about for the most part of the time I was at my brothers was watching my brother leave. He did, the first night I was there. He and I usually stay up and watch Fullmetal Alchemist or some kind of Anime.
Cassie (Cassandra) was particularily upset, fussy and such since she had had 3 shots on last tuesday. I finally got to pick her up yesterday after not getting to hold her for 2 months. The first time she saw me she twisted her face and started crying. So after that I left her alone for the rest of the time. Then Sunday came and the package with her little friend baby pooh bear and robeez booties was opened. Needless to say that the bear was a hit, she smiled all the time after the pooh bear rattled. I got to hold her and took her in front of the mirror, and she'd look at me and smile. It was a great feeling. ^_^
Valerie, of course - for the most part of the time leeched onto me. She wanted me to read to her, and after every sentence was read, she'd turn the page on me. Then she started demanding that I read it, and I explained to her that I would if she said please. She never bothered me again after that. She also had a fever Christmas day and had a bit of a short temper which led to crying. Never got to say goodbye to Val.
Cameron won an award for Achievements, particularily Math. He and I played a game of chess and nothing could be worse than two Tauruses going at a game of checkers. Believe me when I tell you this - I thought yeah sure I can beat him. nope. Mind you Cameron and I are both so stubborn that neither of us would move, you could tell he was getting bored, and I was getting far too irritated from his lack of patience. Hence I moved all my guys in front of his and let him win. We both had each other cornered, and the moves consisted of moving our kings back and forth in the same spot.
Not to mention - my brother had played the SNES with Cameron, and Cameron said to him that girls can't play video games. My brother begged to differ and told him that Auntie Debbie is really good at playing video games. So? what did Auntie Debbie do? Started playing video games. After readjusting the control pad - funny enough my brother, Crystal and I ended having a Super Mario 3 marathon and each playing a level. We got the Tanooki suit, Ice Climber suit and the Frog suit, all the whistles and still kept going.
Grandpa ended up going into the hospital on the 23rd. His breathing is so bad right now that they asked us if he had left anything in his will about being revived. He's back at home now. It seems that they are just going to let hime die at home. I even dreampt that Grandpa died on the 24th, but I saw him yesterday so he's still alive, but he looks to be in bad shape.
Of course, I went to the mall - I bought two new shirts. One with snoopy on the front, the other with Tenderheart on it - cause you can hardly find anything of Tenderheart. Also bought a jacket to put patches on. It's form fitting, It'll also have to be altered a bit but that isn't anything new with the clothes I own. Bought a hat with the Canada flag on it, and a new coin purse. Picked up some el cheapo CDs from A&B sound: Beck - Odelay, The Prodigy - Greatest Hits, Journey (yes - MORE JOURNEY), and for christmas I got The Beastie Boys CD.
All in all, Christmas was good.
Those people who were stranded last night decided to come in. It felt good knowing that they were safe. They didn't have to wait long though until thier ride got here.
