On December 31, do you look back and wonder what you did when the New Year hit?
I actually remember (sorta) what I was doing around midnight on Jan 1, 2010 lol. But Yuu-chan is getting old and her memory's going, so I'll write it down anyway 8D

I missed the countdown too :( although I celebrated the NZ timezone one beforehand XD This years New Year was kinda sucky :/ I prefer to celebrate by myself ^_^;

LOL Haru just jumped for some paper I threw for her and she landed on the foot post (foot post? o.o; foot board?) of the bed XD Like, on her stomach... Poor Haru.

Ah~ is NZ in an earlier time zone than Finland? Did you celebrate New Years with a lot of people? lol. true, I sometimes prefer the quietness of being alone XD

Yay~! I love to draw kanji, so writing your xmas card was fun~ XD

NZ is the first to see the new year ^^; In the whole world! It's 11 hours ahead of Finland at the moment.

I celebrated with Pate's uncle, his wife, Pate, Pate's brother and his girlfriend. I stayed sober while everyone else got drunk (and Pate slept through midnight XD). We lit fireworks which sounds fun, but wasn't really. Fireworks are nothing special to me. Sure, when I was 10... I like to countdown on my computer (alone) and have an imaginary party in my head XD I do the same thing on my birthday (I was born at 1:06am). I think I might've caught a cold from Tiina (his uncles wife/partner...something) >_> Why would you invite people to your house IF YOU WERE SICK? *grumble*

(Haru is now trying to eat the tinsel from the xmas tree)

Japanese uses mainly traditional too :) I like writing them too, but I such at remembering them XD;;

OH~~ wow! o.o (I somehow remember learning about that in school) That's WAY ahead of Canada then lol.
Sounds like it was quite the party. But being the only one sober can be kinda awkward and boring =_= at least I think so :/ And walking away with a cold is not fun. Get lots of sleep and hope you get better soon >_<
