A wild guess derived somewhat from fantasy novels, as far as I can fuss out...

Once upon a time, Ciaryn was called Sam, and Aurelia loved him, but then Ciaryn got possessed or something and killed her, and then her spirit needed purifying and so he paid someone to do it but the guy locked her into a sphere thing?

Aurelia's possessing Luna, and Ivan passed out because he's picking up two sets of thoughts from one mind and he can't handle that, and Sol's pissed off at Aurelia because she's possessing his little sister and he wants to kick her except she's in Luna's body and so he can't?

Oh, and Aurelia's quite insane...?
