MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
It's a little late in the day, but I spent most of my time since waking up at my grandmother's house and she doesn't have wifi. This Christmas I got some new clothes, the blueray of Firefly (which I'm watching right now), and an iPad that I am currently writing this on. I did not expect that last one at all.
Yesterday I went to an annual family party, watched over a dozen kids open presents in rapturous joy and uncontrolled chaos, and had multiple people try and ply me with alcohol because I don't really drink and they think this must be rectified.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable, if exhausting, holiday. Next Wednesday I start something called J term, where, at my new college, you can take one class in a month (January). I'm taking Women and Fiction. I've spent the past week reading the assigned books early because I'm weird like that and being vaguely disappointed that they're mostly contemporary fiction, a genre I don't read much of. Although there was one Jane Austen (Northanger Abbey). I'm curious how the class will go.
