Day 18 - Whatever Tickles Your Fancy
I don't really have anything Doctor Who related for this today. :/
I've been watching season one of Life on Mars and now I have the David Bowie song stuck in my head. D: Not that it's a bad song, it's just that if I want to listen to it I have to youtube it, which means I have to look at close up shots of David Bowie's face and that's pretty frightening. It's just... he wears so much make-up and the camera zooms right into his nose. And his pupils are all dilated funny, like he's either got a concussion or he's stoned off his ass. Ah, the 70's. :D
So, Life on Mars is pretty good. I'm watching the UK version because I've been told the US one sucks (especially the ending) and I wanted to see John Simm in a role that's not psychopathic (aha! This is related to Doctor Who! :D). Also, I think he's kind of hot.
Anyway, Doctor Who stuff! This is the DW meme.
Since I haven't seen any of S5 or The End of Time Special I haven't been including Eleven, Amy, and Rory in this meme, which is a pity; they seem awesome. I have a feeling I'm going to be gaining a new OT3 when the DVD finally comes out. For some reason I ship everyone in Doctor Who. Although most of them are het ships, which is weird for me, but it's usually the doctor and a female companion, so there really aren't that many opportunities to slash, which is my usual modus operandi. And I can't femslash, either, because the female characters are never around each other long enough to develop a relationship. I supposed you could pull off Martha/Donna or Rose/Donna. I kind of want to see Martha/Rose, though. And Martha/Tosh (see icon). Arrg, my brain. It needs to stop collecting ships, especially ones I'll probably never find. I still ship Zoe/Two/Jamie in my head because of a single scene and I've never found any fic to support this. Although, I suppose if I looked it up now I'd find some, rule 34 and all.
OMG, my brain. This is all very tl;dr. I think this is the most energetic I've ever been online. I feel all bouncy. Maybe there's a gas leak or something. ;)
