The steretypes are true...

Dave, Kaye and I went to see mah cousin's band (86Licks) play at the Cavern yesterday, and i must confess that they were actually rather good. Generic Indie be their forte, although they are on the higher, more listenable end of the spectrum. Pity the audience was filled only with family members, friends and random chin-stroking beardies. Havent been to Liverpool town centre before (save a trip to Weatherspoons near the Train station) but it seems the stereotype of the average Liverpudlian as a knuckle-dragging, shaven headed scally is entirely accurate. Don't think i saw one 'normie' who wasn't a Beatles-boning tourist. But still, watching couple of 50 year olds in tracksuits fighting over a bottle of Woodpecker reaffirms one's snobby outlook on the underclass.
