The Sotades Painter is an Indie fuckwit. He only paints obscure myths. He uses obscure techniques. He delights that no-one knows what he's painting, how he's painting it, or why. If he were a pub, he would be Troff. If he were a magazine, he would be the NME, with a penis-shaped hole where the cover picture of Carl Barat would be. He is a free spirit unaffected by convention. He hates sellout artists who paint The Labours of Herakles(the archaic equivalent of the Kaiser Chiefs). He is the Sotades Painter. He likes what you don't. He is Indie.
