Omg, I feel like I just got back from the mountains! :x
Had a Christmas celebration with my jc mates yesterday (Feels like just today, actually.) and I'm actually glad I'm doing something for Christmas at least. Didn't manage to celebrate it with the girls this year, and my relatives had long since ceased with the Christmas gatherings, sad to say. In fact, I spent Christmas Eve night home alone?
We were supposed to meet up at Nex at 5PM, but like always, everybody's late. Only Hazel was on time. I swear the weather hates me lor. It only rains when I get out and stops when I reach my destination, the motherfucker. Nex was so crowded I almost strangled everybody in my way. Finally met up with Hazel and we nua-ed at starbucks for a bit.
Haisong called to find out where we were.
Hazel: Oh I'm at starbucks with Jessica...
Haisong: Don't talk to me about Jessica! She's going to die when I see her later.
Like a super fierce please. Met up with CM and Peng and we went to NTUC to shop for our steamboat food. Spent quite a bit of time there. Met up with Haisong halfway through and I'm glad to announce that I wasn't killed. Shawn turned up as well. & the 6 of us headed to Hazel's with KOI, which CM ordered and collected earlier.
People started appearing at Hazel's house as we were preparing the food. Jensen, Chongsiang, Kiatar, and Shinkay. Failed at our attempt to recreate the kimchi pancake. The Dokbokki was better, at least there was taste but it hardened pretty quickly. It was still fun trying to make them though.

Haisong was cutting everything. He eventually got scolded for cutting up the cheese tofu as well.

Anyway, the aim of the photos were to show that Shinkay didn't do anything. AHHAHA. Okay lah, she chopped up the chicken. Which was a pretty difficult thing to do, in my opinion. I would have mutilated the chicken.
& then we were finally able to eat. Had 'My Sassy Girl' playing on TV as we ate. I didn't... find it exceptionally nice or anything. It's funny but not super funny. Still like 'My Girlfriend is an Agent' better. Kept me in stitches 80% of the time.
And then dinner was done and everybody concentrated on the movie.
There was this period of time when there was damn a lot of people in the house. Hazel's two brothers were home and the elder one had his gf with him, while the younger one had a friend with him. Then Hazel's bf came up to say hi. He left and we started our first game. A game which lasted us till almost 4am in the morning. The 'Murderer' game. Marcus arrived with alcohol and Hazel sent her bf off. Then we had our gift exchange! I can't believe I keep getting wrong things for people. Haih. Not intentional please.

Murderer game, which is probably only fun with a large group of people. This game seriously unleashed another side of Shawn which I had never seen before. He's SO naggy!
Basically the game has a narrator, a murderer (or two), a medic, and civilians. So we get cards with K, Q, or a random number. The narrator would get everybody to close their eyes, then get the murderer to open his eyes to point out a victim. Then the murderer closes his eyes and the medic would open his eyes and pick someone to be saved. Then everybody opens their eyes and the narrator'll announce who was just killed or that nobody was killed (which bases a lot on coincidences, 'cos it meant that the murderer and medic picked the same person). What was funny about the game was that Shawn kept picking people out.
"It's Marcus, I'm sure it's Marcus, it's Marcus, Marcus! I swear it's Marcus.. Hazel, it's Marcus, pick Marcus, it's Marcus, Jessica, pick Marcus, I swear it's him." Then after a while he'll think a bit and change, "Or maybe it's Jensen. Okay I'm going to pick Jensen, pick Jensen, I'm sure it's Jensen, it's Jensen, Jensen!" So with a majority of votes, the person gets eliminated and he would have to show his cards. & the person Shawn always pick is innocent, sad to say. He was so noisy that Peng kept voting for him, not 'cos she believes he's the murderer, but so that he's eliminated and that he can't vote anymore (in other words, to get him to shut up.)
Sounds like a pretty simple game but it got creepy at the last lap when it's down to like 4 people or something, then 2 of them are murderers and everybody's just trying to guess who's the murderer. Hazel got tricked by Shawn and got so annoyed she announced, "I swear I'm going to squeeze your balls." and all the guys kena stun. Of course, they teased her quite a bit about it after that. Shinkay waved the white flag after a while and went to Hazel's room to sleep.
They decided to change to a game of heart attack afterward. After a few games we ceased, and they played Pandora's box. Being someone who doesn't like playing stuff that involves answering questions, I just went to nua on the couch. Then ended up going into Hazel's room and knocking out as well. That was at 5am I think. I woke up at 7am to what seemed like argueing outside. It was damn loud. I knew Hazel probably fell asleep in her mom's room 'cos I couldn't hear her voice.
Jensen concussed in a weird position on the couch and Marcus concentrating on his game. And yes, the sun was already up.
Went outside and found both Jensen and Kiatar concussed on the couch while Marcus, Haisong, Shawn, Peng, and CM were hard at it. CM was a little seh already but the 3 guys seemed to have overflowing amounts of energy, seriously. They were playing Monopoly Deal & Daidee AT THE SAME TIME. CM and Peng teamed up, with CM playing Monopoly Deal and Peng playing Daidee while the guys multitasked. It was crazy funny 'cos they kept scolding each other.
Shawn, "HAISONG WHAT ARE YOU DOING. MONOPOLY DEAL AND DAIDEE BOTH STUCK AT YOU. CAN YOU HURRY UP!"
Then Haisong'll retaliate after a while when Shawn had both games stuck at his side. Marcus just kept screaming 'Fuck!'. Okay I just made him sound retarded. But yeah. It was. Interesting. It was like a fish market. Probably noisier.
Jensen woke up halfway. "Omg, this is so noisy, I'm going crazy, I need to get out!" Then he went to the door and attempted to let himself out, but the door was locked. He said later on, "I felt so sad seeing the door locked." He ended up going into Hazel's room and concussing there.
Shawn ended the Daidee game with his 5th consecutive win and Marcus screamed 'Fuck!' at him again. AHAHAH. The thing about Marcus is that he has such a comical face and contagious laughter that his vulgarities just sound funny. After screaming 'Fuck!' at Shawn, he proceeded to hyperventilate at the couch. Hyperventilate in laughter. He was gasping for air seriously.
They switched on the television and everybody just stoned, staring at the screen, waiting to go for breakfast. Had macs at Hougang Mall then adjourned home. Took 89 w Jenny. It's pretty awesome having a friend stay in Pasir Ris as well. Got company home. HAHA. Too bad Julian doesn't join us or we get transport home. AHHAAH omg asshole. Waved to Haisong and Shawn as we passed by their bus stop and concussed in the bus. Then ended up shifting to the other side 'cos the sun was blinding us.
Watched the music performances at home then concussed till 5 plus. I think it was pretty bad 'cos I actually slept through my alarm clocks and I didn't even hear when my parents came home? My mom told me she tried waking me up thrice but I was dead to the world. Washed up and headed to Nicholas' party, the most peculiar 21st birthday party I ever attended.
So we ended up seeing each other again.
Jensen: Eh hi! Long time no see!
Why was it peculiar? On reaching the chalet, Nic was already tipsy. We had to wait for Hazel and Shinkay to come to cut the cake and they were really late. By the time they reached, Nic was already in the toilet throwing up and all. Then. He went to sleep. His friend, who was the main host I suppose, told us it'd probably take 1 or 2 hours before he'd sober up.
Reason why Jenny & James are looking at the camera, because Marcus went, "LETS LOOK THERE!" 2 seconds before the camera went off. Differentiates the slow and fast responses.
Am liking the candidness off this picture.
So guess what we did. We played murderer again. AHAHAHAH. Played it till like 11pm before we decided to just say bye to Nic. He couldn't even lift his head to say bye. He kept hiding. So we just left like that. Seriously, the weirdest 21st. HAHA.
