What an amazing weekend!

Thursday was dennis' birthday so rather then the entourage coming over, we had a very small evening with pasta cup and den tay and I. was bliss!!

Friday (work boo!) but afterward Ryan, tays godfather had arranged to take Tay to a movie and swim night, which was fantastic, i met them there about 20 mins after the movie had started and we all swum, chilled out, came home COLD (OMG!! best feeling after these hot days we've been having) and had a brilliant sleep in..

Saturday was the boring pay rent/do food shopping routine and later in the evening we went go-karting with the family and a couple of ryans friends. Was a great night and tay had a ball, even though she wasn't allowed to ride one herself..

Sunday was the official celebration of dens birthday, which i thought was going to be a bit of a fizzer seeing as we had already seen so much of them, but i was wrong! Tay had a birthday party in the morning where she saw the new movie Tangled and LOVED, and Den and I headed off to do his v8 hot laps just outside of the international airport.. he had a blast, i got some awesome pics of him and he was honestly happy, its been a long long time since i've seen den just thoroughly enjoy himself without having anything on his mind... It's true how they say you can get just as much enjoyment from watching someone else, as i think i had a fantastic day too even though i didnt do anything half as intense as Den!... Mum and Ryan picked up Tay from the party and we met them at their place..

From there we went to their local pub which had a kiddie area in the bistro and had lunch, Food was amazing, drinks were cheap, was a little noisy due to 2 massive birthdays but overall a really relaxing and fun day.. Tay was in a great mood and we got to chill out as a family; whilst we spend a lot of time together i cannot say that seeing my mum is always pleasant. More often then not we leave very frustrated and angry but not today!

We got home, chilled out on the couch had showers and a sammich before bed and now she's in bed, the washing is on the line and i've just got to do a quick tidy up before flaking out myself..

One thing that this weekend (well Den i should say) has inspired me to do, is to start a bucket list. he's managed to complete 3 of his without even having one which is pretty awesome (meet his idol - metallica, drive a race car - today, and play a sport at an elite level - this one is a technicality, but he did play soccer for WA (so state, which he is classing as elite) for one game!

My list is not very big atm though ahah,

so far i have;

Swim with sharks
complete either 52 photos a year (one a week) or 365 photos' a year, though in saying that, i've tried 4 years in a row without success. But am contemplating doing it this year (a bit late!0 as i have my brand new point and shoot luminix!!
travel to an overseas country
complete a uni degree.

Any ideas i'd love to hear yours
