i just got into FIT! FD 05. so, now i have to wait till march 1st to see how much money parsons offers me, then i have to decide if paying over 3 times the amount of money that FIT costs, would be worth it for a school with a better rep for FD, beter conecctions and for, what is to me, a better education (parsons). i'd defrather go to parsons, but i have to say im more excited about getting into FIT. i mean, for parsons my portfolio was all observational drawing, so when i got in i basically knew that they thought i could draw well. that was great, but since they didnt accept fashion designs, i had no idea what they'd think of them. FIT on the other hand only accepts fashion designs in the portfolio, and only like 12-20% of applicants are accepted, so it was nice to get some validation in the FD deparetment. i'm excited at any rate.
