The view is almost completely black. There are slight sounds, like footsteps, and possibly the tail of something dragging across the floor. A quick flash of yellow eyes cuts through the black, revealing Toothless' position. He's slinking down the hallway, obviously after the legal hours, nose to the ground.
After a few minutes of the walking, he starts sniffing a wall, then puts his front paws up on it and sniffs some more. There is swoosh of air, and within a second the dragon has jumped, hit the wall, and fallen back down again. He lets off a frustrated growl and does it again. Each time he does it, the growls get louder and more frustrated and just plain upset. He's trying to climb high to find a better spot to sleep and watch people, but the missing part of his tail prevents him from flying in the direction he wants.
After a good fifteen minutes of this, he curls up in a ball along the wall in the hallway and put his head on his paws, giving up.
