Its natural when you lose something that was such a big part of your life. To hurt, to be sad, horrible, crappy. If you didn't feel these things, then the relationship wouldn't have been worth it. but there is one thing that you need to know - You are going to be okay. You might feel horrible today, the day after, and the day after that and as much as you want it to, it probably won't go away for a long time. In the mean time, keep yourself occupied, learn a craft, pick up forgotten hobbies, exercise, read, better yourself. It won't make those feelings completely go away, but they will distract you for a while. And when the pain and the thoughts come back again, embrace it, cry it out, but remind yourself, that you will, be okay. Then start the process again, keep at it, recognise you are strong, important, and mostly, that its worth it.

Over time, slowly, you won't need to force being happy, laughing. One day you'll catch yourself smiling. It won't be overnight, but trust me, it will happen. Eventually, you'll recall those happy memories and know that have shaped the person you are now. You'll reflect on the bad, and learn how to change. And you'll be happy.

So don't worry about how you feel now. As cheesy as it sounds, time mends all things, and the hurt too will pass away. You're a wonderful girl who has a thousand things to look forward to, search for them if you have to. You have a lot of friends and family who love and care for you. Don't be afraid to lean on them for help.

You will be okay.
