Been swimming around in my head. Sort of shows how vampire!Cas seems to be able to evolve (maybe in a good way!)...Unlike Gotter!Cas who lives a short life and never becomes anything more than what he ended as.
------------------
Sometimes he wondered about Trian. He figured he knew a lot about the mage, but probably not as much as he thought. Sometimes they discussed magic and sometimes they sat quietly. Casimir liked both things. However, the pleasantries ended each time when he turned on Trian.
But Casimir liked this too.
He liked leaning over Trian, lording his strength and power over him. He liked making Trian feel helpless and despairingly powerless. Trian did not. Trian trembled and cried out. He simply gave up after a while because he knew he couldn't make Casimir stop. So, he lay there motionless, waiting for it to end.
As time went by, Casimir began to wonder just how much longer Trian could hold out before he was utterly destroyed.
He pushed himself up, catching his breath as he inspected Trian. He had always noticed things about him, but often, it slid past his immediate concern. But after things had cooled down, he did take note. Trian's slender body was more than slender. It was frighteningly thin. Casimir was surprised he hadn't physically broken him yet.
He heaved a sigh, and moved his gaze to Trian's face. "Take better care of yourself. It's not healthy for you to be like this." He meant Trian's much too slender body, of course. Rising, he found and replaced his clothing. He spared a single glance before he walked out the door.
Whether it was out of selfishness or genuine care that he bothered to say anything, he wasn't really sure.

The way I figure it, being a vampire and living for an extremely long time would change a person. I think for Casimir, it's a good change. He can learn from his mistakes, after all. It just takes him longer than most ;P
