My happily ever after would be this:
I'd be working for a small newspaper in a small, coastal city, preferably in Oregon. I would be married with three kids and I'd live in a sea cottage with a white picket fence and I could walk to the beach every single day and feel the sea breeze in my hair and the sand between my toes and hear the waves crashing the shore. I'd hold hands with my husband and maybe hold a baby in my arms while the other kids walk up ahead, flying a kite or chasing after a dog.
Maybe then we'd go to the local farmer's market and get some fresh fruit and listen to local music and we'd stop and get some coffee and stop by the local bookstore on the way home.
Then we'd come home and make dinner and we'd all sit around the table and share some laughs.
And then I would read the kids a bedtime story and then curl up in the arms of the man I love.
