(no subject)
God is working on my life in soo many different ways..then from my life..I add on people I care about...He's doing some really cool stuff in them too. Even from there add on my friend's friends and family. It just keeps going and God is watching out for each person individually.
How many times do we get overwhelmed because we are caught up in one little detail or one relationship. He's got the WHOLE WORLD! If we could just focus on Him, then on loving eachother like we should(putting their thoughts and emotions before ours) I truly believe that we would be happy too. I know struggles are going to come and drag us down.. but by them we learn how to grow and love more. I think that's one of my favorite verses. Faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these is love. I'm not sure what the reference is. But it isn't gushy love..When God created love He didn't say like.."ohkay...love is gonna start out as a crush and blah blah blah" it isn't that at all. My favorite kind of love is the unconditional, never changing, no more, no less, perfect love that only God could have. BUT! we can learn. He wants us to..and He's willing to show us. If only we had the patience it takes. Being a Christian is, I don't want to say complicated...but it takes our time and our focus to really become someone that reflects Christ. So is my favorite love, but my favorite *thing* about Christ is His presence. It makes me feel whole, accepted and renewed. I hate when I get busy and I put my quiet times aside and mope through the day mumbling about how I should have at least started it out by spending a few minutes with God. That time really fills me. I realize He is there WHENEVER!! But somehow, when I miss the beginning of the day, it throws me off. I get so distracted by stupid things that I toss my Bible aside and search for fulfillment somewhere else. That is when He floods me with His presence. That would also be when I yell THANK GOODNESS really loud and get weird looks. What do you say? "I'm crazy about the Holy Spirit"? They'd be like...yeah you're crazy about something. But I don't know, I think it's cool.
So, this is where my blabbing stops..oh wait, I didn't update the coffee scene. This is Mark's favorite part. ready? COFFEE!!!!!!!
We are doing really well today, lots of guys are asking about the gaming :-p...and lots of coffee is being sold. Everyone that comes in is like "man this place is AWESOME!!"
I just finished a sign out front featuring our iced and blended drinks and the tournament that's hopefully gonna be full tonight. God loves us. <3
The guys that have a store next to us have been over like 4 times so far. One got a quad espresso!!! hahah...and the other has gotten(over the span of all his visits) each flavor jones...there are like 7 different flavors. Anyway, people are starting to come in and out and I feel like they're reading over my shoulder so I'm gonna stop. :)
