Is there such a thing
... as a cable company that offers contracts for 6 months or less? I'm trying to organise TV and broadband for someone who's moving into a flat on a 6 month contract.
I've just checked out Virgin, and their useless sales staff say all contracts are 12 months. Such a fucking antiquated business model. What about people in less permanent positions? Myopic cunts.
Anyway, I guess it has to be cable, because BT phone lines, too, require a minimum commitment of 12 months. Considering there's almost always some mythical, extortionate connection charge whenever a new tenant comes along anyway, how the fuck can these companies justify this kind of inconvenience?
