In recent days, the inhabitants of the City may have noticed that Phoenix had been unnaturally quiet for quite some time now. The truth was, that Phoenix was planning something-- and he wouldn't tell a single soul what it was.
Not Edgeworth, not Shinju-- no one. It was apparent that Phoenix had decided to enable the stubborn attitude he was so often complimented upon having and kicked it into full gear. Whatever it was that he was planning-- he knew it was going to happen. It was only a matter of time. The days drew closer to his set date, and he grinned a fiendish grin as he looked up at the old courthouse and leaned against the wall. Everything had been set up, his hard work had definitely paid off, and now all Phoenix had to do was get everyone's attention-- which was easily done. Especially when you have enough patience to stick fliers around the City and when making signs was relatively fun for the only man involved.
The flier read that there was a party happening-- one that hadn't been decided by the City, but an inhabitant. Phoenix didn't put =his name anywhere, however-- he really wasn't out for the glory. Phoenix had simply decided that if everyone was stuck here, then they were stuck together. It only made sense to band together and become friends.
So whoever decided to join him for that party would be delightfully intrigued at all the effort Phoenix had put into the party's decor. There were banners, drinks (non-alcoholic and alcoholic), food-- even music had been acquired and was being played throughout the building on seemingly invisible speakers.
Phoenix found a charming sort of irony that he hoped Edgeworth would be impressed with by setting the entire event within the courthouse.
Who knows, maybe people would be interested to learn about what the lawyers really did for a living?
