That footage of the Yamato/Argo rising from the dried seabed seals the deal - this is going to be an awesome movie. No shots yet of the wave motion gun (unless I blinked), but I'm sure it's in the film.
I'm actually pretty psyched that the cast is Japanese - "Star Blazers" was anime, but like all anime they all looked vaguely western - that always confuses me. And subtitles don’t bother me either.
In Japanese theaters on December 1st - man, this thing has got to play somewhere over here before it comes out on DVD.
