got a very nice letter from ms. jen hines. made me really happy. thank you jen. i owe you a letter and a phone call.
i owe amy mueller a phone call too.
i'm a pit of owed phone calls.
pen pal life is superb. superb and beneficial. everyone should have a pen pal. casy is my pen pal and not even Pittsburgh and S.E. Asia can change that. that makes me happy.
been realizing lately that few things are truly important in this life. wish i realized this earlier.
really good friends have taken over my life. i absorb every second with them and that's become extremely important to me and not because i'm leaving for a while, but because they inflate me with life.
good people are hard to find.
on the contrary, time with everyone else has made me anxious and sad.

transition to pittsburgh complete thursday. 7:06 am. i'll be looking for the WYAM sign holder. and then my life will begin again...or perhaps begin for the first time.

however, i strongly commend jessica and isabelle for calling to see me [or just the too-hot-hair]. unfortunetely, i was stuck in monday's "no-hanging-out-get-crap-done" to-do list. somehow "put curlers in hair" penciled itself in. weird.
also today my sparrow's gate and pinback shirts were sewn. S.G. was sported throughout the ventura east side. bringing "rock you can dance to", to the southern end of california. no cd release party for me. someone send me video...or poloroid. either will be fine. please include cash. any amount will be sufficient.
also get your hands on the Holding Onto Hope Demo soon to be released, recorded the other day after a most excellent breakfast burrito making adventure. i have a copy. bummer for you if you don't.
my cousin tiffany and her husband brock are moving to california friday. i'll miss them by two days. i finally get relatives in california when i leave the darn happy cow state. they are living with my folks for 6 weeks too. bum sauce boiling up.
i want to see pinback and me without you on the east coast in october.
my birthday is on the 30th. i hope i get 20 cupcakes with a candle in each. you should snail mail me a cupcake. i'll kiss your cheek if you do. but only if there's a candle in it [the cupcake, not your cheek].
danielle [a-town] is moving in with ms. lindsey drown august 28th. she caught the bug. crazy.
i'm gonna stay with them for a bit in january after pittsburgh i hope. awesomely tubuler.
gotta get up at 8 and be busy busy busy.

ps-i'm taking this moment to announce that after years of just saying no, i sold out, gave in, and upgraded from a cassette playing walkman to a CD playing walkman. my dear parents purchased it for me for my birthday cause they more than rock. thank you mom and dad.
