♥_____♥ I loved the ending. How it wasn't rushed or anything, how things build up easily through what you describe as "time" but for me it was only a couple of hours, how the dialogs roll up and connect with your descriptive paragraphs to mean so much about the place, and the plot, and the characters, and the thoughts in their minds, plus the feelings in their chests. It was amazing. I loved how Gerard felt so peaceful while letting Nate go after all this time, and how Frank wasn't the one responsible for that by giving him love - instead we have BRANDON giving Gerard that peace that he had been longing for for so long and it's beautiful! Because Brandon reminded Gerard of Nate, so it was really impressive to have the two opposites happening to Gerard while being with Brandon. Gah! Plus, you ended the story with Brandon since he was so important to Gerard and, therefore, to every other character because they all revolve so much around each other and they don't seem to breath and live with any of the others. Very good! And Butter... oh man, I didn't think this dog would mean so much to the story, but it brought so many memories to Gerard that it made him realize how long it really had been since he had gone away and all. So sad yet so deserving of this story:) Then, Mikey, kinda in the shadow, but so secretly forgiving for everything that Gerard hid from him since it hurt the older brother so much. And Mikey was so perfect with Jamia, in their love for cars and whatnot - its so not Mikey, in my head, but it worked out really well. Finally, Frank *-* I've got a special love for his character, because I've got experience with a Frank who waited for long years for Gerard too, so I kinda reflect on that. And it's amazing how he could wait for Gerard, and take things at Gerard's rhythm and not at his heart's rhythm. And when they kissed the first time *__* After all, maybe the lyrics were kind of prophetic. Oh my... and the next morning, he looks like a character from last century asking for the lady's hand, in marriage, to her father! Eek, so good. And pretty <3 and how Frank is such a teenager all over again, when he's with Gerard, and masturbating because Gerard doesn't seem to make a MOVE at all and it probably pisses him off to that little despair at the back of his brain. Ugh. And how he's all after waiting for almost twenty years, he thinks he has done his time, I loved that. And Frank being so bold, while Gerard was so smooth and careful with every word <33
And you wanna know what I loved too? Your descriptions of the time passing by. How you made sure to tell us what season they were in and how each one of them treated the city and the characters so specially, with not too many but the enough details to bring an image to my mind and a desire of knowing that place where every season seems so beautiful and unique *__* BEAUTIFUL job! (:
