I'm going to Poland on the last Sunday of April to meet my girlfriend's family, and she is coming to Tamworth with me on th 17th of April to meet mine. Things are getting pretty serious. I've even mangaged to put aside my usual self-involvement, self-worship and selfishness and started to consider things from a different perspective...i.e, if I am asked to do something will invite her, and not go if she doesn't want to (and I had plans with her). And not finishing it immediately if things go slightly wrong, as per usual.
At first I attributed this to my realisation that it is a lot harder to meet females (at least, interesting females that might be worth dating) in 'adult' life than it is in education. But over the last two weeks or so I have come to understand that in fact it is because, quite simply, I really like her and I don't want to end it for some stupid reason like the fact she talks to me when she's getting ready for work and I don't have to be up for another two hours...We're even thinking of cohabitation, and not just for financial reasons.
Damnit, I never thought maturity would catch up with me.
