You know what I like about Spock? He always knows why he knows what he knows or how he figured something out. Obviously, he's just a character written that way, but the reruns play in my head just the same. So when someone asks me, "how did you figure that out?" I can't help but wish that I could explain it clearly instead of shrugging while feebly attempting to retrace my mental steps out loud. Figuring something out instead as impressive or helpful when you don't even know what connections you made to get there.
