Thank you to everyone who came to the gallery on Halloween! Considering it was mid-week, it was actually quite a bit more successful than I'd imagined. Before the official party started on Wednesday, we had a bloke come by from the culture section of The Guardian to interview us about the gallery and take some pictures once we'd set up for the party. I'm always happy for more publicity, though I wish he would've waited to do the actual interview on another day, because it's hard to feel professional when you're dressed as the Phantom of the Opera. ;)
I have to say, I think I'm getting old, because three parties in a week was exhausting. I think I'm going to spend most of this weekend sleeping off all those late nights. It was fantastic seeing everyone, though. We still have a lot of food left over from the caterers; if anyone wants any cupcakes, please come by, because we've been eating them for breakfast the last few mornings and we'll need an intervention soon.
