The gallery has been open for three weeks now, and it's equal parts exhausting and rewarding. It's gauche to talk about money, but suffice it to say that we're doing quite a bit better than we ever did just showing our pieces at other galleries.
Victor's mum came by to see it a few days ago, and it was the first time I'd met her. She was very nice, and she seemed to be really impressed with all of our work, which I know meant a lot to Victor. While she was there, she invited both of us to come to dinner next week, which I have a feeling I'm looking forward to much more than Victor. We've been together for years, though. It's more than time I properly met his family.
