i just scanned my pictures of facebook, meaning pictures others took that i appear in since i think i've only uploaded two to date. anyhow, i noticed the setting is often at my place, people eating, people playing, people lan-ing, people having fun.
more and more i am finding an appreciation for my crazy careless warehouse. also more care. we've hired a cleaning lady and we've instituted a slipper only japanese style shoe-off policy. we're doing minor repairs and we have some major winter prep in the works to keep us less cold.
what i think i am saying is that we sweated and bled all over this place to make it as far as we did and it's an enviably awesome space custom built to house our childlike hobbies and priorities. it's huge and it certainly is often problematic but it is incredibly unique and it's worth maintaining and improving because after we leave life will never feel so big and awesome again.
