AHH! History in the making!!!
If you are following the midterms, I hope you are excited as I am! And If you are not, this weill give you an idea: So the House of Representatives is in the the bag for the Dems, They have picked up 25 NEW seats in the House and reelected all incumbents. Right now, there is going to be a recount for Virginia and Montana who both have one senator up for reelection and both incumbants are Republican and both are trailing behind their democratic competitor by about 0.5%. If dems win just one state, they'll have 50 seats, but not control of the Senate because VP Cheney can cast a tie-breaker vote. So winning both seats gives the Senate to the dems and since they already have the House, the whole Congress is going to be democratic! The pendulum is certainly starting swing back, and that's about all I have to say.
We also have a female Speaker of the House for the first time ever!!
