Other than its very weak beginning (which I think comes from writing too much episodic stuff rather than one-offs), I'm really pleased with my Slashababy fic this year. And utterly delighted with the comments I got, which show I achieved what I was aiming for - realistic setting and believable characters. I really don't do plot, so to have written something in which I do well what I think I can do well is a good feeling.

Thanks to all who commented. I know AUs aren't everyone's cup of tea.
