Doing taxes sucks. My IU W-2 doesn't have a "box a" for a "control number" but my W-2 from the place I worked at in San Fran does. Wtf?
Have to call HR tomorrow on my lunch break. What's odd is that it's only the state e-File system that asks for it, and even then, only the one on the Indiana Dept. of Revenue site. The H&R Block state tax thing never mentions it. I'd use theirs but they charge $25 for state tax returns and the Indiana DOR one is free.
Federal returns done! $410 back in 8-15 days! Woot!
