well, the world fell to pieces, and im still eating apples
so i was leaving for work today and i saw this old cocker spaniel almost get hit. i pulled over in my neighborhood and approached the dog. it was so dehydrated and emaciated that it could barely walk. being the animal freak i am, i wrappe her in a towel and took her to Petco with me. my awesome boss, corey, and i decided to find a place for her. i gave her a full body clip and washed off her fece covered body. she also had some ticks on her. it was obvious that this dog wasnt homeless, just mistreated. stray dogs dont have shit in their face, confined dogs do. ANYWAY, corey took the dog cuz i couldnt bring it home being that i have a dog and i didnt know what this dog has. we may have to take her to paws tomorrow, which means she may get put down because every no kill shelter from her to des moines are full. COrey said she is going to try to find a cocker spaniel rescue group tomorrow. i hope this poor old dog gets a home, she is VERY sweet, eventhough her breath reaked, i still let her give my hand kisses when i was clipping her. she just needs love, some sleep and food. she already looks better from my and corey feeding her today. i am guessing this dog is about 12 years old. its going to be so hard to find her a home, i wish pets for seniors wasnt full:( this is a special needs dog, is anyone even remotelt interested in adopting her? please let me know, or call me or corey at petco! 309-679-0640 Thanks!
