FRUIT OIF THE SPIRIT
Jesus replied, "the most important commandment is, "Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only God. And you must love him with all your heart and soul and mind and strength."
"The second is: 'You must love others as much as yourself.' No other commandments are greater than these."
And so God is giving us a new commandment to us now-love each other just as much as God loves YOU. Your strong love for each other will prove to the world that you are His disciples.
THere is a saying' "Love your friends and hate your enemies." But God says: Love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way you will be acting as ture children of your father in Heaven. For he gives his sunlight to the eivl and the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust too. If you love only those who love you, what good is that?
