I dont have a dragon! just for the record. i only have:

- 4 cats
- an owl
- 3 toads
- 2 billywigs
- 5 ferrets
- a fire crab
- 30 flobberworms
- a glumbumble
- a crup
and a silly jobberknoll.

but I would really like a pet dragon! it would be so much fun. And maybe a Moke and a Demiguise to, does anyone know where I can get them please?

Corrie, we talked about this last year! You really, really are only supposed to bring one pet with you to school. At least leave the fire crab with Professor Renfield, and talk to her about the others. We cannot have a repeat of last year. We simply don't have room for all these animals in Hufflepuff, and it's dangerous to have them all in such a small area. If you don't do something about it someone will get hurt and then you'll be in serious trouble.

Every year they run around the common room and get hair all over other people's things, get underfoot, and sometimes ruin furniture or people's property. It's not that you don't take excellent care of them, it's just that there are so many. Please. I'm really, really sorry, but some of them are going to have to go. Starla Makenna is already talking about reporting you, and we'll all lose house points.

I don't mind them personally, you know I don't, but it's my job as a prefect to do something about it. I'm sorry.

but only the cats the ferrets and the crup have hair and the cats can go wherever they want in the castle and the ferrets have a cage.

the Owls live in the owlery

and all the rest are really small and dont do much!

But that's a total of ten furry animals, most of which lurk around the common room at least part of the time, all of which shed, and one of which shredded a Charms essay of mine last year. The owls are fine, but the billywigs sting, the glumbumble upsets people, and the jobberknoll alarms some of the younger students. And there is NO way a firecrab can live under your bed.

I'm sure there's a way to work it out so that some of the professors can assume at least partial responsibility. Renfield can help with some, and Professor Quince might like to have the flobberworms and the jobberknoll around, but unless you can get permission from Quince at least, you simply cannot have all of these animals in Hufflepuff house.

If you want, I can go speak to Quince with you. I'm sure he'll understand.

no. the ferrets have a cage. the crup is only a puppy so he is still tame. and the billywigs and the glumbumble have a cage to. and the jobberknoll is not alarming he doesnt do anything just sits there.

why are you taking them away. its just mean. your supposed to be my friend.

I am your friend, Corrie, but there's going to be trouble, possibly very big trouble, if you simply keep all of your animals in the Hufflepuff common room and dorms. I want to help you find a way to keep all of them if you possibly can! But Starla Makenna is going to report you to Quince, and if you don't go talk to him first to work out some sort of arrangement you'll be docked house-points and some of your animals probably will be taken away. Bringing more than one animal really is against school rules, so we have to do this properly and get your animals cleared by him first. He's very reasonable and I know he'll help you.
