Occupation: Jake works at the Ministry of Magic, as a hit wizard. He is sort of like an Auror, only not really. His primary job is to capture criminals. Dark wizard or not. His job requires that he travel all over the U.K., looking for wizards who have committed crimes. One of the main aspects of his job is to keep everything from muggle eyes, so he is forced to use stealth. He is a master at unspoken spells, as he has to be able to cast them at a moments notice, never knowing when a criminal may strike.
Bloodline / Heritage: Half Blood // British
Personal History: Jake grew up, living only with his mother. He never met his father. While his mother was in her 7th year at Hogwarts, a muggleborn 6th year snuck up on her, as she lounged on one of the couches in the Ravenclaw common room, and raped her. Her family, being blood elitist, quickly made a cover up story, saying that the girl had gotten pregnant by a pure blood wizard from Drumstrang, during her summer holidays. His mother was absolutely horrified about the whole ordeal, and gladly went along with her family’s story. She cared not about being considered a tramp. All she cared about that no one ever find out that she had been raped by a muggleborn. As long as no one found that she lost her purity, she was fine. His mother went on to work in the Department of Transportation in the ministry, and she quickly moved up. By age 23, she was head of department. Jake was six years old at the time. This meant that she was spending quite a bit of time away form home, leaving Jake in the care of his nanny. His mother, while you could tell she loved him, was also a tad bit disgusted by him. The fact that he was a half-blood was absolutely revolting to her. She tended to show her love from distances. A quick peck on the cheek would suffice, no more, no less. As she was gone more and more often, Jake began to wonder if she loved him. The poor boy knew that he loved her, and had no clue as to why she didn’t love him back. This carried over to his preteen and teenage years. He continued to wonder, and when he received his Hogwarts letter, he was determined to do something that would make her proud of him. He was sorted into Slytherin, which greatly pleased his entire family, as most of them had been a Snake themselves. He thought that maybe that would please his mother, and that she may show some of her love for him, but all he got was a congratulations letter from her. He worked hard all seven years, trying to prove himself to her, but to no avail. He made Quidditch captain, prefect, got very high OWLs and NEWTS, but nothing worked. Even now in his adult days, he still continually tries to impress his mother, clinging to the desperate hope that someday she may just realize that he feels unloved, and his quest for love would be finally over. The sad part is, no one knows of this. To others, Jake was extremely intelligent, witty, and sarcastic. Not known to have many friends outside of his house, he was thought anti-social, which wasn’t true. He had grown up knowing that he was half-blood, wishing everyday that he was pure. In school, he hid his bloodline, told others that he was pure. He was known as a sort of bully to muggleborns, and even other half-bloods such as himself. He knew that he had to be like that, or risk his cover. None of this changed as he finished school. Now that he is forced to work with muggleborns, he is cordial to them. Never talking to them unless he has to, putting on a cool demeanor. Everyone suspects that he is a Death Eater, and they are right. The only problem is, no one has proof of this. In school, he didn’t plan on becoming a Death Eater, but as he finished it, he realized that his mother seemed to have a certain respect for people who were fighting for the Dark Lord. He had been raised a blood snob, even knowing of his own impurity. So, when he came of age, and was able to accept the mark, he gladly did it, hoping to impress his mother, only to fail once more.
Personality: If his personality could be summed up in one word, it would be cool. He isn’t openly rude, but he isn’t openly nice either. He is cordial when he has to be, but usually he goes straight to the point, not leaving much time for social chit chat. He is logical, except when it comes to his mother. He is quick thinker, and can handle stress really well. Having a small streak of Lion in him, he is brave. Whenever the Dark Lord ask him to complete a chilling task, he asked no questions, and just does it. He is very secluded, and shares his feelings with no one.
Physical Description: Short brown hair, usually in some sort of spikey style, deep green eyes, set in a slightly muscular face. With a muscular build, he stands at around 6’ feet, and weighs around 187 lbs. (got that off that little chart thinger.)
