Shortest phone call ever.
Christine just called from a rodeo to tell me that she saw rodeo clowns.
(For those of you unaware of why this is great, see this post, but as that was the sixth post of a seven post night, it's pretty insane and makes little sense. So if you're lost, you're lost. All you really need to know is that "Rodeo Clowns in Space" was a hillarious seven minute musical.)
Rather than ask the question that after-the-fact seems all too natural, the "What are you doing at a rodeo?" question, I asked, "Do they look like they're from space?"
Here's the conversation in its entirety:
BEN: Hello.
CHRISTINE: I can't talk, I just wanted to say that I'm at a rodeo and that they have rodeo clowns.
BEN: Do they look like they're from space?
CHRISTINE: I've been yellin' it, man, I've been yellin' it. But I gotta go.
BEN: OK, bye.
CHRISTINE: Bye.
So not the shortest ever, but definitely most enjoyment per second.
