(no subject)
is it just me or is really hard to absorb the fact that we have like, 9.5 weeks left of high school? we say it over and over but do any of us actually realize what that means? and i don't know about the rest of you, but i feel like it hasn't been THAT amazing yet. it's been fine. not bad. but could be 20x better.
anyway. we hired like 58959854 new people at work. okay like 4 but still. it seems a little weird and i think my hours are getting cut but i'll survive. like i want the money but i don't feel like working. i don't wanna do any kind of labor ever again. and i already told this story to some people but.. it was just really funny cause pat, the little old lady who's on register 9-5:30 on weekdays, goes up to me and grabs my arm and whispers loudly, "cathy... we have a lot of good looking boys here now!" it's probably only funny if you know her. but keep in mind she is like 60.
a little true though. they're not that bad. i just don't like the fact that they're all new.
like i said, i don't want to do any work anymore. ever. which leads to my third quarter report card. i have to send it to pc and muhlenberg. and it's not that great. i think im getting a C in brit lit, my first grade under a B EVER and it's showing up for colleges of course. and mr. bennett decided to like, give us grades and as of right now i have a B. i don't know how he became a teacher, honestly.
back to my first topic. does anyone have anything like, really fun to do? we haven't done anything extremely memorable yet, you know? let's think. all of us. (hah, let's see if anyone actually leaves a comment.)
so. i'm officially allowed to go to westhampton. i'm almost excited for prom other than going by myself and having no fucking clue what is going on the night of the prom. but i have my dress and made a hair appt and it'll all be good i hope.
i am also excited for the tbs/jew show next week. except... i'm lazy and cheap and haven't gotten the new tbs cd. so i don't know any of their new stuff. good job cathy.
ok, enough rambling.. one more comment is that i'm LOVING this streak of no rain. and temps staying in the 50s and rising to the 60s. yay :) goodnight everybody.
