Thursday didn't play so other bands got to play more songs and that was fine by me. Met all of the deftones after the show, smoked a joint with Chino and talked about whatever, was great. That guy is one of the coolest people I've ever met.

I mostly took videos and pictures of the deftones but there's some As I Lay Dying, Street Drum Corps and a few others from the show. I’ll be uploading some videos of the deftones too shortly, I pretty much got the full show on my digi, all but 2 songs.
I'm not sure about the order and I might have left a song out but this is pretty close to what was played and the order.

I was REALLY surprised how good a lot of the bands were at the show, cause I don't really care for any of the bands on the bill aside from deftones and As I lay Dying.
Street-Drum Corps was the last second stage band before deftones hit the stage, and the thing about that band is they're really good, but not at a show like this. It's basically electro goth drum & bass, which is fun at a club, but not a hardcore concert.
And now we dance
Deftones hit the stage and the crowd goes ballistic. They start off by playing fieticera, and the audience is cheering so much that Chino says "oh snap!"
To clarify, "Beware the Water" is a new song. When Deftones said the new CD is gonna be like outerspace, they meant it. This song is like floating. It's the most amazing thing ever. My knees started to give out on me because the song is so good. For the closing song, the band did the first part of "7 words" but then jammed into "Birthmark" instead... And switched between songs until it was over. I would have really loved an encore, but due to such short sets it's not logistically possible I guess.
I still need to get the videos up and put the pix n vids from the korn show, i've been slacking alot, been busy with other things, spending time with Tara the last few days. Hanging out with her later today.
I'm on a Deadsy kick, been listening to them alot, they need to get a new CD out already. I was talking to Elijah from Deadsy over AIM not too long ago cause I've always had his screen name and talked about the new CD, I told him I didn't like what I had heard already hah. That was a while ago, maybe they are re-doing the songs, that would be kinda funny if they were just because I said I wasn't feeling any of the new songs. Hopefully they make a good cd and get it out soon.
