"Hello All,
I found out yesterday that Thommie Walsh has been recovering in a hospice from non-Hodgkins lymphoma. He's been through three series of chemo, and is now being cared for in the hospice, as he's too weak to care for himself.
I'd like to put together a collection of emails from UCI NY Satellite folks who have stories about how Thommie inspired them. I know Thommie instilled in me the "something is only worth doing if you do it at 110%" work ethic. Any other memories or thoughts you might have, please email them to me so I can print them out and send him a little book of inspiration.
Also, please forward this email to any of your UCI connections--I only have a few email addresses, and would like to show Thommie much of an impact he's had on us.
