A long day
This has been an extremely long day. I've been at school since 7:30 and I probably won't leave till after 10. I had two dance classes, MT II, 40 and 130 (bleh). I also went to Roger McWilliams (The head of the honors program) and complained to him personally about Social Science Core and the many many problems I had with it. He listened to my (and 3 others) arguments, said a few helpful things and a few bullshit things. He's going to talk to the lecturers of the class but we'll see if anything gets done. My midterm in that class is tomorrow. I studied a lot of the weekend so we'll see how it goes. Wish me luck. This is going to be the longest week ever.
In other news I broke up with my boyfriend for good. We'll never get back together. And you know what? I am so happy. I feel great and I now feel like the world is full of so many possibilities. I have no idea where I'll end up or with whom and it's an amazing feeling. I have total freedom to do anything and everything. Wow.
So I finally got in a show, the Serpent, and it's so fun so far. I am so thrilled for the cast (they're wonderful) and the show is great. Everyone must come and see it.
Also, come to the Vagina Monologues this Friday and Saturday. I am also in that and it's going to be wonderful.
I'm also in a show Anne Brashier is creating, called the Playground. It's part improv, part dance. And we'll have two one-hour shows in the Spring with live music. It's an amazing experience and I'm learning so much.
I'm also in my Dad's barbershop Spring show at the La Mirada THeatre. They're doing a tribute to George M. Cohan and I'm playing his sister Nellie. I have a solo in one of the chorus numbers and I'm singing in two quartet songs, one of which I have the melody. I'll also be solo tap dancing.
So, yea, I'm kinda busy. It's wonderful. But my weekends and less that exciting. So call me on the weekends and we'll go out.
