A block away, the ninja girl had picked the perfect prey. A thug. A stupid one. It hadn't taken long for her to get his wallet, and the second she did she was out of there. It also hadn't taken long for him to notice. "Hey! Bitch! Get back here with that!" He called out as he attempted to run after Yuffie. As she ran, she counted the money. There wasn't a whole lot, but ther e was enough.

She looked up from the wallet in time to see a black chocobo standing there, but not in enough time to stop herself as she ran WHACK right into its feathery hindquarters, wallet flying out of her hands and at the feet of the samurai as she fell on her butt. "Hey! Watch where you're going!" she yelled at the chocobo as she got to her knees to crawl towards dropped wallet... and thats when she noticed the man. She looked up at him, then at their general surroundings... Police... station... Shit! This must be an officer then!Yuffie looked up at him, still on the ground in mid act of grabbing up the wallet. Yuffie gulped and picked up the wallet as he instructed her too. She stood up, but didn't put it in his hand. Instead, she clung to it and pulled it close to her chest as if it were one of her most treasured posessions. "This is mine, Sir," she tried being polite for probably the first and only time in her life. "Some thug tried to take it from me and tried to chase me! Honestly!"

Auron glared. But, much as this young girl wished otherwise, he was used to stupid tricks like these, and had given up on trusting anyone at all a very long time ago. "Then let me see the wallet so I can check for your ID."

Shit! He's on to me! she thought. Not that it was very hard, she may have tried to look innocent, but she nearly has suspicious written all over her face.

"I... um..." she stalled, skill clutching the wallet. "Why would I have ID, sir? I'm underaged and don't need one for anything" she said with a bat of her eyelashes.

Auron sighed inwardly. Yeah, she was lying. "If there is no ID, then why would you be worried about me checking the wallet for one?"

"I'm not, I just thought it pointless and I'd save you the trouble," she said with a pout. Yup, she had been caught red handed. Hesitantly, she placed the wallet in his hand. The second she let go, she jumped backwards, "Well, see ya old man!" After a quick wave, she turned around and ran the opposite direction as fast as her legs could carry her, ducking into the nearest alley.

Auron had what had been dubbed as an Auron moment by Yuna's and Tidus's fathers. He facepalmed, dropping the wallet in the street in the process.

"As if Braska's niece wasn't bad enough..."
