My Bowdoin interview went well, I think. It might not have been a good idea to tell her that I am planning on reading a biology textbook for fun (which is, sadly, true! I wanted to finish my calc HW early so I could get started on my goal, but of course this did not quite work :( ), but I think my intense knowledge of Griswold v. Connecticut and Edna St. Vincent Millay* impressed her enough that she forgot my nerdiness. Additionally, on account of a) my nervousness and b) my decision to wear my red sweater and c) my cafe mocha, I was very warm and my face was probably tending more towards the rose-colored side of the spectrum.
Roveiza's and my Agora class ("Duff Stuff") is very raw, as is Shruti's and my Agora improv class. Hint: In the improv class, the theme will be pirates v. ninjas, and we are going to have an improv war on the last day!
Manana: calc! And Freaks and Geeks, which we are watching in Creative Writing. That show is really raw. Shoutout to Batbat, my homegirl who was years ahead of her time in liking Freaks and Geeks. Yes, Batia. I am admitting you are right. :)
I need to finish my college apps. I am proud of myself for not applying to Georgetown. Peace out.
*Except then she asked me what my favorite ESVM poems were, and I was so flustered that I couldn't remember many names. Oh well!
P.S. My tip for college interviews: Check your clothes before you leave to make sure that your sweater does not have a big hole in the armpit, as mine did. I don't think she noticed, but I was amused at myself afterwards.
