Deal or no deal.

Did a day with the guys. Spent alot of time in the car with David, Cortez and Victor. Drove out to Hollywood and went to the taping at the CBS studio. It was fine as long as they just kept taping. But anytime they took a break or stopped for a commercial, it would take 10 or 20 minutes to get back and going again.

There were two contestants. The first was finishing a women from another show. She was the mother of 7 kids and I really think she would need whatever amount she could get. She ended up going home with $85,000 which is a nice chunk of change for doing absolutely nothing.

The guy that came after her hada changed at 3 million but he ended up talking the bankers "deal" near the end and got a pittance, $5,000, compared to the other women. Sadly enough he was going to give the money two the highschool he workes for and to the charity that his wife runs. They go to TJ and build houses. The price to build one house, $5,000. So that was upsetting. And he said he might try and get KIss to come to his 50th birthday party. So there goes that. He had to be the happiest guy in like the world realy. He was smileing so wide the whole time that I partially expected his face to tear open.

Spent alot of time just talking back and forth with Cortez, Daivd and Victor while appluadeing or yelling or booing. Cortez and Victor were dividing up the different girls in red between each other while David kept talking about how shiny the brief cases were. Brokeback jokes seemed to be the most common occurance of the night. And it only really got old when we got to David's house. There was a stedy cam in use and I think those things are the coolest. The guy helping the dude useing the steady cam (the guy who follows the steady cam operator around to work with the wire) was hot. It was good times when he was around. That and his sweatshirt was just cool. It had a nifty design on it. I laughed because I told Cortez and Victor that I though he was good looking and Cortez agreed saying that he was a "dish" or something like that.

Right at the end, When Victor's bladder was going to explode (be sad for the tiny/shy bladdered) they revealed that some chick from Las Vegas was here and they were doing a combined special promo thing. She's was there because Howei mandel (the host) was going to be on Las Vegas or something. And they made us sit EVEN LONGER so they could figure out the camera angles and what not for the combinded shot. Apparently the Las Vegas show does this thing were people freeze and it zooms around through the crowd. I don't know but that's what they said and that's what they did. This was our blocking...

aplaude (3 seconds)
fake talk (till FREEZE)
freeze

yup. I went to the tapeing for Deal or No Deal and ended up in Las Vegas as well. Kinda cool. No I'm going to watch Deal or no Deal because there's a greater chance of us being on camera (360 degrees shooting) and I might just watch the begining of Las Vegas... since I don't quite know what was being said on stage at the time.

Howie had about 3 lines, one of which I'm sure he says every time and yet it took a number of tapes for each line. LAME. The uber Happy Guy was funny because he made the banker wait for quiet a long time.

Then there was getting slightly lost, David drew a map, we figured it out, got onto the freeway and ate dinner at Claim Jumpers ing Carona. I gots a bread bowl. IT was SOOOOO GOOD. It was pretty empty, which amazed Victor. Daivd actualy brought food. Cortez kinda ate. And I was WAY WAY tired.

Then we ended up back at David's house and watched SNL with Steve Martin as the host. And I fell asleep. When I woke up it was 10 till 1 and i figured that I really needed to get to sleep. So I left.

The night on the whole was awesome.
