physical health

There has to be a better way to measure physical health. A objective manner to measure that works inbetween weighins or extends the time between or even eliminates them. The scale alone commonly leads to many of the problems with maintaining and developing healthy habits.

Right now i am attempting to use the overall plesant sensation of feeling great after a work out as the measurement for motivation but my scale has plataued at my college frehman 10 weight. And the my brain slips into the thinking that if i can't get the scale to move while eating eight and exercising then why not get the good tasting foods that arent always healthy? Why not eat costco sized containers of nutella?

My prefered weight, when i actually felt the healthiest was when i was in a serious long term relationship. But there again was an external motivator. The problem with tht is when it's not an intrinsic motivation and that external reward (the boyfriend becomes and exboy) is removed, the habits slip away as well.

I would like to discover an extermal measuring system that is motivating and is obvious on a small day to day basis.

But until then im gonna work on my habits and increasin my will power during moments of weakness.
